Currently pursuing Oracle Integration Cloud certification via Oracle University Learning Subscription as part of ongoing Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements mandated by employer policy, with annual renewal required to maintain role eligibility. Taught courses in Computer Information Systems at the collegiate level. Designed the XLeads LLM Integration: automated empathetic SMS/email responses for real estate with integrated Gemini Flash and Z.AI GLM-Flash models, output constraints, and auto-reply loop suppression. Deployed OpenWebUI on a private network with multi-agent integration (local and cloud-based) within a unified LangChain architecture including MCP servers engineered for structured tool calling, a Role-Pseudonymous Prompting (RPP) protocol designed as a de-identification layer, and token optimization strategies through deterministic injection pipeline bypassing the LLM entirely for retrieval reducing context window consumption. Demonstrated that open-access LLMs enhanced with optimized RAG/Embedding pipelines can achieve A+ parity with flagship models at 94.4% cost reduction.

UC Health integration delivery operates under a disciplined change-control management governed change-control model requiring each change to document business purpose, affected users, master data and configuration impact, assumptions, environment-specific testing results, training and communication needs, approvals, and post-production follow-up. Depending on severity level, changes require formal cross-module impact review, reinforcing expertise with cross-functional Oracle business process dependencies, production readiness, and environment-based release discipline. This governance model encompasses the full delivery lifecycle: building, testing, troubleshooting, documenting, and deploying integrations, reports, workflows, and technical extensions in a controlled enterprise environment using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, BI Publisher, ATP, FBDI, and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP platform tooling partnering closely with functional analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.

Post-Go-Live Stabilization Legacy ERP to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Migration:
  • Gap Remediation: Performed comparative analysis of legacy SCM transaction semantics versus Oracle Fusion Receiving interface constraints, identifying undocumented dependencies in supplier site attribution, item-org UOM compatibility, and PO lifecycle synchronization.
  • Middleware Enhancements: Refactored inbound OIC integrations to introduce ATP-based canonical staging and BI Publisher-driven enrichment prior to FBDI/REST submission, resolving supplier site, UOM, and item-org mismatches.
  • RCA Methodology: Established root cause analysis processes leveraging OIC instance logs, ESS request history, and ATP staging table queries to deterministically differentiate Oracle configuration defects from upstream data-quality violations.
  • Operational Support: Authored production support playbooks enabling operations teams to locate, re-stage, and reprocess failed SCM transactions without manual ERP intervention.
  • Outcomes: Reduced monthly SCM receipt middleware errors from a peak of 5,672 (January 2023) to 7 (July 2025) a >99% reduction and monthly Oracle cloud receiving errors from a peak of 24,383 (September 2022) to 385 (July 2025), a ~98% reduction.

    Notable Integration Builds:
  • Surgical Case Management & Clinical Procurement Integration: Engineered a bidirectional clinical procurement data exchange between an external EMR platform and Oracle Fusion ERP delivering two outbound BI Publisher interfaces (Item Master and PO lifecycle extracts) published via SFTP to the EMR, and one inbound OIC Gen3 orchestration ingesting purchase requisitions via SFTP, staged in ATP, enriched with ERP reference data via BI Publisher lookups, and submitted to Oracle ERP through FBDI and ESS job orchestration with SOC 2-compliant fault handling, record-level ATP status tracking (NEW/SUCCESS/ERROR), and automated scheduling.
  • Capital Budget Integration: Built an OIC Gen3 scheduled orchestration ingesting daily capital project and budget extracts from an external EPM platform via SFTP, parsing pipe-delimited data into ATP staging tables (project headers, task details, budget records), enriching records with Oracle reference data via BI Publisher reports (Project Manager EIN and Department Code lookups), constructing Oracle-standard FBDI control files (PjfProjectsAllXface.zip and PjoBudgetsXface.zip), and submitting them to Oracle Fusion Project Control via ESS job orchestration (Load Interface File for Import → Import Projects → Import Project Budgets) with de-duplication, version-aware budget update logic, partial-success fallout handling, batch-level email notifications, and SFTP-based FBDI archiving for audit.
  • Invoice Order Attachment Integration: Developed an OIC Gen3 orchestration ingesting daily zipped invoice image containers (~500 invoices/day) from an external healthcare supply chain provider via SFTP, parsing the index file to stage invoice metadata in ATP, resolving Oracle invoice IDs via BI Publisher (GetInvoice_Id report), dynamically constructing REST POST payloads with base64-encoded PDFs, and invoking the Oracle Fusion Cloud Payables attachments endpoint with orphan PDF detection, record-level SUCCESS/ERROR status tracking, CSV error reporting, and SFTP archiving per batch run.
  • SFTP Migration SCM OIC Refactor: Refactored OIC file-polling orchestrations for SCM integrations to redirect inbound file acquisition from a decommissioned on-premises SFTP server to a vendor-hosted endpoint by inserting an OIC FTP/SFTP invoke step at the boundary layer preserving all downstream ATP staging, FBDI construction, and ESS orchestration logic without rewriting existing integration flows. Migrated seven outbound BI Publisher-scheduled SCM interfaces into OIC-managed schedulers to resolve a non-standard port incompatibility preventing direct BI Publisher SFTP delivery, maintaining identical file contracts with the external system and adding ad hoc BI Publisher output pickup logic for business continuity.
  • SCM Middleware Error Notification Remediation: During SFTP migration analysis, identified a silent-failure defect in OIC Shipping and Receipt import integrations where middleware errors produced no email notifications due to missing email body mappings in the shared error-handler switch condition. Escalated during stand-up, received team approval to expand scope within the same delivery window, and implemented the targeted fix restoring full operational alerting for production middleware failures without redesigning the shared error framework.
  • OCI PaaS Optimization Project: Reduced infrastructure costs by automating OIC and ATP instance shutdown/startup schedules for off-hours, reducing active OIC Connectivity Agents in test environments, and maintaining DR environments in standby mode significantly lowering compute costs while preserving operational readiness.

Key Strengths Demonstrated in This Role:
  • Supporting day-to-day Oracle Cloud Fusion FIN, HCM, and SCM business processes through resilient integrations, scheduled interfaces, production issue resolution, and end-user support.
  • Delivering hands-on Oracle Fusion and OIC technical development using REST, SOAP, file-based integrations (FBDI), ATP staging, BI Publisher, ESS job orchestration, and structured Oracle interface patterns.
  • Performing root cause analysis, controlled reprocessing, and environment-based troubleshooting with OIC logging, reproducible run parameters, and change-control management governed migration practices across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments.
  • Maintaining formal technical documentation, lean specifications, UML diagrams, test artifacts, and implementation details across the full Oracle delivery lifecycle consistent with UC Health’s Oracle development standards, QA controls, and change-control framework.

Employee hours and time punch information tracked using Time Advantage and HandPunch 4000 Biometric Time Clocks
Hours were imported using PeopleSoft EDI Manager via SFTP and stored in Oracle Database for the PeopleSoft ERP HCM
Each distribution center had a HandPunch 4000 Time Clock, and these timeclocks could be updated remotely through a daisy-chain network structure using TCP/IP via a polling process when new hires started, or current employees were terminated.
These Time Clocks record a geometric image of a person's hand and converts that into a UID or Unique Identifier which is stored as Biometric Data on the reader or internal memory of the HandPunch 4000 unit. That information is not stored on the server, vendor application, nor any database.
Manage the Hand Reader Timeclocks (HP 4000 series), employee database, and time keeping software Time Advantage and Ping, e.g., assigning perimeters for mobile clock in or setup of both new hires and terminated employee profiles including biometric data.
Mediate business, functional, and technical requirements and meet with executive staff to discuss business solutions within the Oracle tech-stack: SQL Developer, PeopleSoft Application Designer, Oracle DB, e.g., played a major role in data recovery pertaining to a legal settlement regarding the Illinois 740 ILCS 14 or BIPA (Biometric Information Privacy Act).
Database management
PeopleSoft Application design and testing for configuration and customizations.
Record and extract transaction data and create business documents via PeopleSoft EDI Manager
Manage processes and jobs via PeopleSoft Process Scheduler.
Design new and modify existing reports using SQL queries, SQR, and Crystal Reports.
Develop batch files to run reports on a schedule with Windows Task Scheduler. These scripts contained commands to run the SQR reports with the appropriate flags.

OpenWebUI Deployment & Local LLM Integration

Maintaining and expanding the OpenWebUI platform for Generative AI web integration, locally hosted small language models (SLMs) and cloud-based large language models (LLMs) via a unified architecture. See my preferred DIY Language Model-Stack(s) below which include RAG/Embedding models, web search tools, OCR, and reranking models. Key components include:

  • Tools: Integrated various tools, filters, and functions: Groq Compound Systems Wolfram Alpha integration filtering (inject compound_custom parameters into the request payload), Wolfram Alpha LLM API tool call, KJV Bible verse retrieval using Bible-kjv JSON library, Verse of the Day for any Bible translation/version using BibleGateway Web-Service, and token optimization strategies through deterministic injection pipeline bypassing the LLM entirely for retrieval reducing context window consumption.
  • Models: Integrated diverse model systems (e.g., GLM, Mistral, Perplexity, GGUF) and tools (llama.cpp, Ollama, LMStudio, LangChain) with custom middleware pipelines to monitor token usage and cost.
  • Stack: Python (FastAPI, REST), cURL, WebSocket streaming, async/await, Docker, and Python venv/uv.
  • Features: Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embedding, reranking pipelines, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, multi-agent pipelines, and privacy-preserving protocols like Role-Pseudonymous Prompting (RPP).
  • Benchmarks: Achieved parity with commercial models at significantly lower costs (up to 94.4% reduction) in domain-specific benchmarks, validating scalable and enterprise-grade performance.
  • Applications: Optimized for specialized contexts (e.g., research, analysis), ensuring secure, compliant, and cost-efficient generative AI architectures.

Hardware Preferences:

  • GPU: GGUF Models hosted on Llama.cpp servers (CUDA release) via HuggingFace repos or Ollama, optimized for NVIDIA RTX 5070 TI GPU (12GB VRAM).
  • CPU: GGUF Models hosted on Llama.cpp servers (CPU release) via HuggingFace repos, optimized for AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX.

Serving the Lord & His People

*Disclaimer: Believers in Christ are called to serve the Lord and His church with all their hearts; an act of their own volition. Though I do not advocate using the term "volunteer" to describe service work in the church, servants of the Lord are instruments of God's will and not a title of nobility (1 Peter 2:16), I choose this adjective to clarify for employers that the roles I have adopted over the years and will continue to pursue are non-profit efforts without pay. These efforts do not and will not compromise my commitment as an employee to a given organization. This disclaimer is meant to eliminate any concern of moonlighting or conflict of interest.

"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood" [Acts 20:28]. "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another" [Galatians 5:13]. "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men" [Colossians 3:23]. See Matthew 25:40, John 13:14-15, Galatians 5:13, Ephesians 6:6-7, Colossians 3:23, and Acts 20:28.
